The Economic and Cultural Benefits of Northwest Alaska Wilderness

In 2014 because of the work on Cape Krusenstern subsistence, wildlife resources and ecological issues that the Environmental Program had participated in over the years, the NPS Alaska Region invited the Environmental Program Director to author an article on the benefits of the wilderness areas in northwest Alaska to the local communities. The article was published in Volume 13 of Alaska Park Science.
