Nearshore Seining in Coastal Waters of Kotzebue, Alaska

In 2015 the Native Village of Kotzebue partnered with ABR Inc. to survey the ecology of the nearshore environment around the community of Kotzebue, with a focus on fish species found there. The Northwest Arctic Borough funded this effort through their Science Steering Committee as part of the Shell community science funding effort during their exploration of the Chukchi Sea for oil and gas.  This poster was created for and presented at the 2016 Alaska Marine Science Symposium.
